About Us

Harmful misperceptions engrained into our society have caused neurodivergent people to be marginalized throughout our world. They can be incorrectly seen as less smart, less competent, and less talented, causing opportunities for them to be restricted.
With these incorrect assumptions comes limited opportunities. Many neurodivergent individuals are not able to have the same opportunities musically, recreationally, and socially as neurotypical people, and our aim is to restore these limited opportunities to them. These stereotypes can also lead to their full potential being hindered and their brilliance and talents being hidden.
Neurotypical individuals are considered the "norm" in society which causes many neurodiverse individuals to become outcasts for simply not fitting into this mold. Welcome Neurodiversity aims to break down these harmful expectations for society to become more welcoming towards neurodivergent people. We want to create a world for neurodiverse people where they can grow and be accepted for who they are.
